Resurrectio - A Chrome Extension to Record a Sequence of Browser Actions and Generate a CasperJS Script
Resurrectio is a chrome extension to record a sequence of browser actions and generate the corresponding CasperJS script. It is an alternative to writing test scenarios manually, that can be reused across browsers and devices.
It is built on top of CasperJS, a JavaScript-based headless WebKit engine that allows to control a browser from within the web application.
What does Resurrectio offer?
In order to record a test sequence, you need to open it with Chrome and choose which steps to record:
1. Start a CasperJS server in a headless WebKit browser.
2. Open your test application.
3. Record a sequence of actions, export the resulting sequence of CasperJS scripts, optionally screenshots and comments.

You can also export the recorded sequence of browser actions to a file and share it with other people in your team.
As you can record Javascript interactions and produce the corresponding CasperJS script, your tests are not limited to pure HTML interactions.

All recorded actions are categorized into different types, so you can understand their importance and see how they are reusable.
CasperJS comes with a built-in option to produce screenshots as well as comments in ReStructuredText format.
